Admissions Process

 

After your payment is confirmed, you will receive:

  • The official Application Form (PDF/Word or online link).
  • The reference form (PDF/Word or online link).
  • Detailed instructions on required documents.
  • The deadline for submission.

You will normally receive the application form within 2 working days of payment.

Prepare and Submit Your Application

Along with the completed form, you must prepare:

  • CV / Resume (PDF)
  • Academic transcript(s) (PDF)
  • Statement of Purpose (max 3,000 characters)
  • References (at least two referees with email)
  • Copy of Passport/ID
  • Optional: Research proposal, publications, certificates

Important Notes

  • The €30 application fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
  • For questions, contact us at: info@broos.institute
  • The Admissions Office checks whether:
    • All required documents are included.
    • The form is fully completed.
    • Minimum eligibility criteria are met (e.g., a Bachelor’s degree for Master’s entry; a relevant Master’s degree or strong academic record for MPhil).
  • If anything is missing, applicant is contacted and asked to provide additional information.
  •  We review:
    • Academic background (grades, transcripts).
    • Professional experience (if relevant).
    • Motivation and fit with the programme.
    • References from academic or professional referees.
  • For MPhil applicants, the research proposal is closely evaluated for originality, relevance, and feasibility.
  • Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an online interview (Zoom/Teams).
  • Purpose:
    • Clarify motivation.
    • Assess English proficiency (if test results are borderline).
    • Explore alignment between applicant’s goals and programme objectives.
  • Interviews are usually 20–30 minutes with a faculty panel.
  • The Admissions Committee makes a recommendation:
    • ✅ Offer of Admission (unconditional or conditional).
    • ❌ Rejection (with feedback where possible).
  • Conditional offers may depend on:
    • Submission of final transcripts.
    • Proof of English language proficiency.
    • Payment of a deposit.
  • Successful applicants receive an Official Offer Letter by email.
  • This includes:
    • Programme name and start date.
    • Tuition fees and payment instructions.
    • Conditions (if any).
    • Deadline to accept the offer.
  • Applicants must formally accept (by signing and returning the acceptance form, or clicking confirmation online).
  • Applicant pays the enrollment deposit / first tuition installment by the stated deadline.
  • Admissions Office confirms receipt of payment.
  • Applicant receives:
    • Confirmation of Enrollment Letter.
    • Instructions for visa application (if international).
    • Access to student portal, pre-arrival guides, and academic calendar.
  • If applicable, the Broos Institute provides a visa support letter.
  • Student applies for a study visa/residence permit in their country of residence.
  • Pre-arrival orientation materials are sent (housing advice, travel advice, cultural preparation).
  • Students participate in an Orientation Week:
    • Welcome session
    • Academic advising
    • Social/cultural activities to build community
  • Official classes begin.
